Charley Tuesday Night

My dear friends,

As I said on Sunday things change very quickly with Charley...I have some very good news and some not so good news. The not good news first, Charley went into ICU yesterday because he was having a very difficult time breathing. He has a bacterial infection and they had to intubate him to assist his breathing. His is breathing much better as of tonight. Once they figure out which bacteria it is, they will provide him with the right antibiotics. This morning he had a fever but after treatment, his fever went back down.

Nehemiah said to me tonight that, "God is so good!" Charley's WBC had been very high a few days ago...it was at 60,000 cells over the weekend, then on Monday it was "dramatically" reduced to 23,000...and today (Tuesday) his WBC is 3,000. This is very, very good news.

* Please pray that the medical team will continue to find the best treatments for Charley, especially for this infection that is attacking his breathing.
* Please pray that Charley's breathing will become stronger and that he will be able to fight off this infection.
* Please pray for Deborah and Nehemiah to stay healthy and strong in mind and body.
