Update from Madeline Figueras

Hi my friends,

I have a mixed message about Charley...what we can see and what we can't see. He looks strong and healthy. I was over there last Friday and on Monday. Charley and his cousin were on his deck playing with a bubble machine and chasing and catching bubbles. Charley's cousin, Maria, has been staying with the family for the last few weeks. God certainly sent a special blessing to Charley and his family when Maria came to stay with them. I think she is 8 years old (maybe 9) and she and Charley play together all the time. She is just so gentle, kind and considerate. They are such good friends.

I talked with Charley's mom this afternoon(Thursday). They went to Boston yesterday for Charley's red blood transfusion. He has had swollen lymph glands in his neck which have been painful for him. His WBC is 4000, Charley's count is usually lower, so they want to investigate this, his glands, and his liver and spleen. I asked his mom if there was anything I could do, and she said, "Pray."
