Bone Marrow Test, Intrathecal Therapy This Friday

This Friday, Charley will undergo a bone marrow test and intrathecal therapy at Children's Hospital. Both may indicate the cause of Charley's recent enlarged spleen and liver, and the frequent numbness and pain in his chin. Through the intrathecal therapy, doctors will insert chemo into Charley's spinal fluid to stop and/or prevent any central nervous system involvement in leukemia.

There is a chance and a hope that Charley's symptoms are part of the healing process, as the destruction of cancer cells can be toxic.

Please pray that Charley remains brave in his fight as he deals with these tests on Friday. Please ask the Lord to be with his doctors as they work to find the best treatment plan for Charley.
