Stable, but Weak

Hello friends,

We are glad to report that Charley is currently stable -- although quite weak. He has no other seizures. Charley gets nosebleeds from time to time and gets platelet transfusions once a day. Deborah and Nehemiah are awaiting the results of the platelet matching.

While in the ICU this past weekend, Charley was not able to take any foods (such as the vegetable broth) through the NG Tube. Charley was able to return the oncology unit on Tuesday. We thank God He stopped the bleeding. May Charley's platelet count go up. Pray the side effects to medication (clotting and anti-seizure meds) be limited.

Please continue to pray for Charley's own immune system to be strengthened to fight the cancer cells.
