Maria's Blog Update
When I (Maria) first arrived to stay with Charley I had no idea what I had in store for me.
When we went to the UMASS hospital on Monday (June 25th) I got to meet to great people, their names were Nancy B. Nancy G. They brought snacks and cool puppets that really made Charley become happy and smile.
Then on Wednesday (June 27th) we went to the Jimmy Fund. There Charley got a blood transfusion and his weekly check-up. I had lots of fun at the resource center. There I painted a close pin butterfly with green, blue, red, and yellow glitter paints. It was a blast! Charley and I also made nap sacks, see we got blank nap sacks to decorate with fabric markers.
I got to meet a lot of Charley’s teachers. One teacher I got to meet was Mrs. Fang; she is Charley’s piano teacher. Mrs. Fang has a sweet, three year old daughter named Annalisa. We played together while Charley had his piano lesson.
Charley also went to a healing service. It was the first one that Charley went to that was lead by Chinese. They also asked charley to pray over one of the leaders there. It was great!
